Our Puppies 

Being animal lovers, we took great pains to research breeders and kennels prior to opening our store and offering puppies for sale.  We do not deal with backyard breeders, puppy brokers, or large commercial kennels.  Our puppies are born in BJ's and Guy's kennel, a family owned and operated small kennel in Kansas. They have been breeding dogs since 1978, and are inspected annually by the USDA, the state of Kansas, and the AKC.  Kansas has one of the toughest commercial kennel laws in the country.  Since we use one source for our puppies, we have confidence in the quality of the animal, and offer you the best guarantee in the business.  Our breeder specializes in small dogs, but does occasionally offer larger dogs as well.  With each puppy purchase, you will receive a free bag of puppy food, a free visit to our vet, and 10% off any supplies you take home at the time of the purchase. To promote spay and neutering, we also give you a $40 gift certificate that can be used for any item in our store if you have your dog fixed at our vet.  All puppies are micro-chipped by the breeder.

Our PUPPY GUARANTEE is the best in the business.  Our breeder offers a two year genetic and heredity guarantee, so we offer the same to our customers.  Florida law (LINK here) requires a one year guarantee, and some stores or individual breeders make you sign paperwork to waive Florida law requirements and substitute a lower guarantee.  KNOW YOUR RIGHTS!  Our guarantee is a HUGE benefit to our customers because if your puppy is diagnosed with a genetic or hereditary disorder within two years of purchase, you will be entitled to a refund of your vet costs up to the price you paid for your puppy!  You will not find anyone else who offers this confidence in the quality of their puppies.

Ferrets and Rabbits

We sell Marshall Farm Ferrets and Peter's Rabbits, which is a division of Marshall Farms. We have a complete line of ferret and rabbit food, supplies, cages, and accessories.  Marshall Farm ferrets are bred to high quality standards and are well socialized.  They have been de-scented and fixed.  Once the ferrets arrive in our store, they are allowed out of their enclosure at least once a day for playtime and socialization.  We litterbox train our ferrets and teach them not to bite, so you are guaranteed a loving companion.  Peters Rabbits are "boutique" bunnies that are bred to be house pets and are spayed or neutered.  This corrects a lot of behavior issues, such as "spraying" of urine, and allows you to house a male and female together without concern.

Birds and Bird Supplies

We currently have a Congo African Grey, Yellow Naped Amazon, Green Cheek Conure, Mustachied Parakeet, Cockatiels, Parakeets, Canaries, and Finches in stock.  Our stock changes often, so please call us for the latest.  Our African Grey "Fandango" has a 1,000 word vocabulary and is an excellent talker.  Our Amazon "Baby" likes to sing a lot, and is also a great talker.  Our Green Cheek "Gizmo" is quite a character and likes to clown around.  We carry Higgins seed in bulk and sell by the pound.  We also carry Roudybush, Pretty Bird, Kaytee, and Zupreem bird food and products.  We have a "build your own" bird toy section, along with a large selection of toys, made for the largest bird to the smallest bird.  Our bird section expands often, and we are constantly shifting in new products, cages, and accessories, so stop in to see what we've got.

We are always on the lookout for used cages, so if you would like to sell us your old cage, or trade it in for a new one, please give us a call. 

Reptiles and Amphibians

We currently have Fire Belly Toads, Water Dragons, Leopard Geckos (regular and albino), Uromastyx, Blue Tongue Skinks, and a Red Footed Tortoise in stock.  Please call us for the latest since our stock changes.  We don't care for snakes, so we don't carry them in our store.  We stock RZilla Critter Cages in 5 to 40 gallon size, and also carry Exo-Terra and the brank new Zoo Med natural habitats.  We carry a wide variety of Fluker's, ZooMed, Lee's, and T-Rex products, foods, supplements, lighting, and habitat accessories to meet all your reptile needs.  Come check out one of the area's largest selections of reptile products.  

Small Animals

We currently stock Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Gerbils, and Chinchillas, but our stock changes often, so please call for the latest.  We sell small animal food in bulk by the pound, and have a large selection of habitats, cages, treats, accessories, and supplies for all the small critters.  We house our hamsters and gerbils in the latest Critter Trail cages so they have a good quality of life, and you can see how well the cages work.

Pet Food

We use and recommend Eagle Pack Premium and Holistic dog and cat food and we carry a complete line for every stage of your pet's life.  Holistic formulas by Eagle Pack include Anchovy, Sardine & Salmon, Lamb Meal & Rice, Chicken Meal & Rice, Duck Meal & Rice, Senior Care, and Large Breed Adult.  We carry both wet and dry Eagle Pack food for both dogs and cats.  In addition, we carry Merrick canned food for dogs and cats, along with Merrick natural chews and treats.  Both Merrick and Eagle Pack are proudly made in the USA.

In addition to Merrick and Eagle Pack products, we carry a selection of other dog and cat treats, chews, and natural products.

In this day and age, it is important to know where your pet's food comes from, and NONE of the products carried in our store have been affected by any of the pet food recalls.

Pet Supplies

We carry a large variety of dog and cat toys, collars, leashes, harnesses, grooming products, crates, beds, and more.  Come check out our selection, we don't carry a large quantity of any one product, we carry a small quantity of a LOT of product.  We are always looking for the unique and unusual pet products as well, so stop by and check out what we have.

We also carry Avanti greeting cards, Aurora stuffed animals, picture frames, scrapbooking supplies, magnets, scarves, bandannas, and other pet related gifts and knick knacks.  We change this section out frequently, so come by to see what we've got.

Unlike the big "box" pet stores, we have several products made locally that are exclusive to our store, Bayside Pets.  Come to our store to check out "Bark Avenue" scarves, ribbons, and jewelry for dogs, and "Kitty Korner" cat furniture, and we also regularly purchase other items made locally that we find fun or exciting.
